Antique Troy Stationary Steam Engine!
This is a Troy stationary steam engine.
It stands almost 9 feet tall overall and is very heavy. We were told it was working when we obtained it, but it has been in outside storage for several years now. The flywheel attached to it is about 4 feet in diameter.
The data plate and stampings say it is an 11 inch bore by 10 inch stroke.
Also on the plate, but hard to make out appears to be the following:
Type: V T O
Steam: 150 PSI
Speed: 100 RPM
Another part that came with it is the large flywheel (pulley?) for the other side. It is too large to be on the steam engine while it is setting at ground level. Either the steam engine would've been mounted on a pedestal, or there would've been a trough in the floor next to the steam engine to accomodate it. It appears to be about 6 feet in diameter.
There does not seem to be any other parts related to it.
If you are not interested in purchasing it, but do have any information on this model, or the Troy engine and machine company in general, it would be greatly appreciated.
