1990 Sebring- Replica of Austin Healey! SOLD!
This is a nice convertible car that gets a lot of attention. The car is titled as a 1990, and we have owned it since the early 90s. The odometer shows less than 3,900 miles, and has worked since we got it. However, we do not know if that would be accurate for the mileage on the engine and other components used on the car. We have driven it locally for 2 or 3 summers only and it has been in inside storage the rest of the time we have owned it. We received the car completed, and were told it was a Sebring MX from Classic Roadsters. Apparently it is a reproduction of an older 1960s Austin Healey 3000. We were informed it has a Ford 302 engine, and some of the chassis parts were common to a Mustang. The car has always ran well, and when we just recently pulled it out of storage it fired right up with just a jump from a new battery. We have since installed a new battery. This is a nice car, but not a show car. The paint on the top panels of the car, those that the sun hits mostly, looks as though it could use a good buffing or something to be uniform everywhere. The passenger side roll up window has a crack near the front top corner, but is intact. It has the normal amount of small items that are not perfect.
It has a soft top, and there is what looks to be a brand new boot kit to cover the top when it is folded down that has not yet been installed.
This car looks great as can be seen from the pictures, is a lot of fun to drive around, and you will get a lot of comments on it.
