Ford F1 V-8 Pickup SOLD!
Here is a Ford F1 pickup we were going to restore, but have too many other projects.
When we got this truck it was running. It has been in storage for a number of years. We got it from someone else who had been storing it. The year on the license plate is 1974. As you can see from the pictures, it would be an excellent candidate for restoration. It has been in the dry Colorado climate and therefore has been preserved pretty well. It appears to have the original flathead V8 engine. The generator for the engine is missing, but the carb, aircleaner, coil, starter, fan, radiator, etc. are all there.
We checked the oil, hooked up a jumper battery, and poured a little gas into the carb. The engine started and ran briefly until the gas was gone. The right front wheel does not seem to want to roll, and the brake pedal is down to the floor. The transmission, driveline and rear end are all in place.
There were some moldings in the truck that will go with it. They are shown in the pictures.
